On the occasion of the 148th birthday of Sri Aurobindo and 73rd Independence Day of India, we present 'Jayatu Sri Aravinda', a devotional song on Transformation in form of a bhajan.
Originally composed and released at Sri Aurobindo Ashram by vocalist Arun Bishnu Chowdhury in 1981, this song has been arranged and performed in new light by Arnab Bishnu Chowdhury and team, sung by his sister, Arjita who teaches Indian vocal music at the Ashram school. The paintings are by Priti Ghosh, Ashram's senior artist.
Many centres and conferences inspired by Integral Yoga have expressed keen interest to inspire themselves with this song as part of their meditation and celebration on August 15th.
