'Tum Padharo Ma' is our 5th bhajan offering from Project Aradhana released on Golden Day, February 29th 2024.

Project Aradhana is a teacher's training program which will offer 10 bhajans inspired by Mother's ‘Prayers and Meditations’ as a medium to learn the Yoga of the voice, music, breath and immerse into selected passages written by The Mother.

Project Aradhana (‘adoration’ in Sanskrit) consists of 10 inspired bhajans in Sanskritised Hindi, composed by vocalist-composer Arun Bishnu Chowdhury, Maihar Gharana; written by Devdutt Singh, accompanied by Tarun Bishnu Chowdhury on tabla. All of them who grew up under The Mother at Sri Aurobindo Ashram. The original album was released in 1981.

Dense clouds of pang are pouring in the heart,
Come, O Mother! Full of infinite Light!

Tears in the eyes of the earth are exhausted
Millions of voices are calling Thee with pitiful cries,

O Guide! On the path of the brave-heroes,
Come, O strength-giver Mother!

On the lotus seat of my heart, put Thy feet full of Light,
Grant that Thy pure fragrance fill
My body, my mind and every part of my being.
